In researching the history of pie, I found out that dwarfs would come out to entertain the guests whenever a pie was served to royalty. I took this fact and used a dwarf as House of Pies' logo and mascot. I pulled the dwarfs across the brand by having them interact with the packaging. The pie menu is an interactive book, making the process of ordering pie much more fun for the customer.
