This logo and packaging redesign of Sherwin Williams gives the brand a simplified look and feel. With all their product offerings, such as different types of finishes and paint lines, a consumer can be easily confused when shopping for paint. Iconography was used to guide the consumer; a diamond symbolizing the Duration paint line, a lotus symbolizing the Harmony paint line and overlapping circles symbolizing the Eminence paint line. Each label also highlights the benefits of each paint line. I felt black and white were appropriate brand colors for Sherwin WIlliams since it's the absorption and reflection of all colors. A colored tab seals the paint once it's done mixing, indicating the color and allowing the consumer to easily identify the content color.
